Dream #5—(05/02/23)

I was in bed, and you were with me. You said, “What are you hiding?” (Do you remember saying this to me?) And you pulled the covers back. You didn’t say anything, but I saw the disappointment in your eyes.

You got up, walked over to the chair beside my bed, and sat down. I told you that you needed to heal before we can ever try to have a relationship.

I pulled the covers back over me and turned my back to you. I told you, “Leave and don’t come back.”

You sat there for a moment, and then you got back in the bed with me.

You said something to me that made me laugh and smile. I don’t remember what it was.

Then you said, “That’s what I love, or that’s what I wanted to see.”

You nodded your head at me with a small smile. —You approved of me.

In our brief real interactions. I wanted your approval, and I was afraid that I wouldn’t measure up to your standards.

The dream doesn’t end there.

Cut to— I’m at a restaurant and wasn’t working because they weren’t paying that much. I was aware of a second job offer that I had accepted that paid more. So I was just hanging out at the restaurant.

Outside was a small cemetery, and one of the plots had a headstone with my name on it. —This is a recurring dream that I had years ago in my early twenties.

It only had my first name, no birthdate or death date on it.

I pointed to it and was showing one of the employees that my name was on the headstone.

She only acknowledged me with a smile.

I woke up and was mildly concerned.

Upon further investigation, a dream about a headstone with my name on it is good tidings.

It’s a death, but it’s a rebirth.

You’ll be returning to me because I am enough. No matter what I think. That’s my takeaway from it.

You walked away and returned because no matter how hard you try, none can replace me. None can fill that place in your heart that I can.

The job part of the dream… I experienced a job loss in real life recently. Then I got another job doing manual labor, and the pay was extremely low. They were working us like “Hebrew Slaves.”

In the dream, I had a new job offer, which happened in real life for me. I got another work-at-home job that pays way better.

Not to mention, I’m working with a temporary agency to secure a job for my “Business Administration” Associate’s degree that I’ve earned. I was promised that they could place me with a company. Hopefully, in Human Resources, which is what my degree is for. —Wish me luck!

So, all is not bad with this dream. There was a death, but there is also a new beginning! ❤️
